Flat price discount for negotiated pricing is now GA

Minor Upgrade

Features in Sandbox

This feature is currently being released to sandbox marketplaces. Expected production announcement: release 757 on November 4, 2026. Dates may change based on validation results.

The Flat price discount type for negotiated pricing, introduced in Early Availability in Release 750, is now generally available.

Alongside Percentage and Fixed amount, Marketplace Managers can set a fixed unit price for a charge directly from Manage > Marketplace > Products > PRICE MANAGEMENT | Discounts, without calculating a discount from the list price.

Flat price supports negotiated pricing scenarios such as:

  • Per-seat deals
  • Flat-price store offers where all items are set to a fixed amount

It is available across the following flows so the customer's price stays stable even if the catalog list price changes:

  • Checkout
  • Opportunities
  • Contract renewals
  • Subscription updates

Flat price works with existing coupon, eligibility, and user limit rules, including applying the discount to the entire invoice or to specific units with minimum and maximum user limits.

Tooltips on the discount creation and edit forms explain each discount type. The order summary and invoice preview show the discount type and original list price.

Usage-rate charges are not supported.
